CHS Classroom Repainting Project
On Monday 5th April, the Executive Committee of the C.H.S. Parent Teacher’s Association realized one of its projects - the repainting of fourteen classrooms. This project was designed to rehabilitate the school following Hurricane Maria. Parents and well-wishers of CHS were invited to contribute either in cash or in kind to the project, as well as, to contribute their labour on the day.
The project commenced on Monday 5th April, at 8:30 am with a group consisting of, PTA Executive members and parents along with their spouses, as well as friends of CHS. Light snacks were provided during the course of the morning and the group worked up to 9 pm that evening. It was certainly a long day and hard work! As a result, the students will return to school to a cleaner and infinitely more pleasant classroom environment for the beginning of Term 3 on 12th April.
